I'm retired from a long-time career and am now having fun enjoying life, loving photography, movies, reading (lots of fan fiction), and anything Robert Pattinson, Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal and the Beatles. Hello my friends and followers! Had a nice quiet weekend taking care of our greyhound Shooter while my sister was out of town… he was a joy to have around and I miss him already. I took this photo of Shooter in my backyard yesterday with my iPhone; he loves the soft deep green grass (pretty rare here in southern Arizona). Shooter is a rescued former racer and is now 10 yrs old and still loves to run in the park (but he limps afterward from arthritis). He is very tall and weighs about 100 lbs. He is the sweetest most gentle, loving dog and isn’t he just beautiful? Please, if you ever want to rescue / adopt a dog, consider a retired greyhound racer (just Google “greyhound rescue”) - they make the most wonderful and gentle dear companions. xoxo from Melbie
