Even though the final between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic is going on right now, I’m thinking of Roger Federer … still so sad he lost to Andy Murray in the semi-final 5 set match on Friday. Andy just won the first set in a tie-breaker of the final - a real battle…. I’m hoping he beats Djokovic… I like Andy, and Djokovic, but I want Andy’s win to show that Roger really had a very tough opponent in the semi-final if Andy beats the World #1. Really, Roger is playing outstanding tennis and I know he can win another grand slam this year…and he will beat both Andy and Novak again.

Rafael Nadal won his eighth straight Monte Carlo Open, easily beating world number one Novak Djokovic 6-3 6-1.
It was Nadal’s 42nd consecutive win in Monaco but only his first victory over the Serbian in eight attempts.

This morning I watched this fabulous man win the Dubai Championship after a brilliant performance against Andy Murray… Roger Federer is incredible! The most talented tennis player that ever lived in my view… and oh so beautiful to watch. The man is poetry in motion!

Okay, I have a confession to make. Among my other obsessions (Robert Pattinson, Twilight, Kristen Stewart, The Beatles, John Lennon, George Harrison, vintage film stars, et. al….), I also am obsessed with Rafael (“Rafa”) Nadal and Roger Federer (#1 and #2 in the world in tennis, respectively). They are both absolutely awesome and I watch every match they play in… and holy hell, they aren’t bad to look at either! So if there are any other Tumblr’ers out there who share my Rafa/Roger obsession, I’d love to find you! :-)
