Good morning dear followers! I was able to watch Bel Ami again last night, and again I was impressed with Rob’s fabulous performance… he is really a very talented actor… He BECOMES Georges DuRoy. Poor Georges, he’s such a cad and treats women so badly, but I can understand the character’s need to acquire wealth via any means necessary in order to avoid abject poverty in 1890’s Paris. I sure disliked the Uma character (can’t remember her name), she deserved everything she got. Loved Clothide - always so forgiving and she and Georges so sexy sweet together. Virginie - completely seduced by the young sexy man she could not resist, mixed feelings about her. Her husband was a cold bastard, that’s for sure….Well, Georges won it all in the end… kind of feel he deserved it…!
